1. Will this fit my vehicle?
All Hitch Bits covers are designed to fit standard 2-inch hitch receivers, which is the most common size on trucks and SUVs. We plan to offer 1 1/4 inch and 2 1/2 inch adapters to use in conjunction with the standard 2 inch receivers. Join our mailing list to be notified when 

2. Does it come with a hitch pin?
Hitch pins are not included by default. Most customers already have one, but you can add one at checkout if needed.

3. How long does it take to make my order?
Each piece is made to order. Production typically takes 2–5 business days before shipping unless we have the item in stock.

4. How long does shipping take?
Shipping usually takes 2–5 business days depending on your location. You’ll receive tracking as soon as it ships.

5. Where do you ship from?
All orders are designed and printed in Pennsylvania, USA.

6. Can I request different colors for items in the hitchbits store?
Yes! We can customize colors for any existing print, just include specific details in the notes section of your order. If you have a completely custom design request reach out and we'll explore options.

7. What file types work best for custom designs?
PNG and JPG files are accepted on our form.

8. Will I see a proof before my order is made?
For custom designs, we will send a proof before printing to get your signoff.

9. What if my design doesn’t work as submitted?
No worries—we’ll contact you and help adjust it to make sure it prints clean and looks great.

10. What are Hitch Bits covers made from?
Our covers are 3D printed using durable plastic designed to handle outdoor conditions, including rain, sun, and normal road use. Specifically we use PETG filament unless otherwise requested/noted

11. Will it hold up in heat, cold, and weather?
Yes. Our materials are chosen to withstand typical outdoor conditions. Like any plastic product, extreme heat over long periods can cause wear over time.

12. Is it safe for car washes?
Car washes at home - not a problem. Headed to an automatic car wash? Remove your Hitchbit before heading in as it's possible the machines may not detect your hitch cover and hit it.

13. What should I expect from a 3D printed product?
Each Hitch Bits cover is custom printed, not mass-produced.
You may notice:

  • Subtle layer lines

  • Minor color transitions where colors meet.

  • Minor traces of a color mixed in with other colors

  • Slight variations between prints

These are cosmetic only and don’t affect durability or fit.

14. Do you accept returns?
Because most items are made to order or customized, we don’t accept returns unless there’s a defect or issue with your order.

15. What if there’s a problem with my order?
If anything arrives damaged or doesn’t look right, contact us and we’ll make it right.
